OSAT

On-site Assessment and Training (OSAT) is a method of assessing the skills and knowledge of people in the workplace and helps turns their existing skills and experience into a NVQ and a CSCS or CPCS card. This process assists experienced workers to get the qualifications that prove they can do the job.

A building site

This means that there is no attendance at college, no time off attending courses and no exams, as all of the assessment and training (if necessary) is carried out on site.

Construction Learning World uses the OSAT method to ensure that all of our learners are able to get the qualification they need without unnecessary delays or bother.

The OSAT method involves a Construction Learning World assessor visiting the learner’s place of work or site and working with them to build up a portfolio of evidence that prove their skills and knowledge. This route generally takes four or five visits over a period of approximately 12 to 16 weeks.

OSAT helps experienced construction workers to gain their CSCS or CPCS card and demonstrate that they are skilled to do their job to national standards. No fuss, no bother, Construction Learning World’s approach is all about helping you gain your qualification in your particular trade easily and quickly.

Benefits of OSAT

One of the key advantages of OSAT is that all assessment is conducted on-site.
