CITB Grants Reduced

From 1st August 2010 CITB-ConstructionSkills grants will be reduced, affecting registered construction companies.
The reductions include:

A single achievement grant of £275 for vocational qualifications at Level 2 and above.

The end of all achievement grants for Site Safety Plus courses (SSSTS, SMSTS, etc).
-
The reduction of CPCS test grants by 25%.
-
Limiting the average number of grant aided training days on a training plan and short duration training at three days.
Although the changes take effect in August, there is still time to make the most of the old grant system.
