Train to Gain is a service designed to help businesses of all types and sizes get the training they need to succeed. Managed by the Learning and Skills Council across England, Train to Gain has been developed from the highly successful Employer Training Pilots and aims to support businesses through working in partnership with training provider to deliver and fund the training required by business.

The Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) offers an easy way to prove competence in a range of occupations. The CSCS card scheme is the industry’s largest scheme, covering 220 occupations including trades, technical, supervisory and management.
Most contractors and clients now demand proof of competence, before allowing workers onto their sites, which is provided by a CSCS card.

The Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) is a card scheme to prove the skills of plant operators. CPCS is the largest and most highly recognised card scheme for the plant industry and it helps to prove workers' operating skills and health and safety awareness.

The Construction Awards Alliance (CAA) is a leading awarding body providing a wide range of high quality qualifications to the construction industry. CAA is an alliance between CITB ConstructionSkills and City & Guilds.
The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) is the Sector Skills Council for the Construction Industry. CITB supports training and learning, industry qualifications, card schemes and establishes the National Occupational Standards. Working in partnership with City & Guilds as an awarding body, CITB and City & Guilds offer a range of NVQs within construction.

Learning World has achieved the Training Quality Standard with Excellence in Construction, Freight Logistics and Warehousing.
The Training Quality Standard is an assessment framework designed to recognise and celebrate the best organisations delivering training and development solutions to employers. The Standard has been created by the Learning and Skills Council to develop a new higher standard for the certification of training providers, including those previously recognised as Centres of Vocational Excellence.
